Bro. Tyrone S. Mitchell 

was baptized on November 11, 1990,  in Harlem, NY, by Brother R.C. Wells, Brother Mitchell has dedicated his life to serving the Lord and guiding others in their faith.

 

With a heart for youth and ministry, he became the first youth minister at the Roosevelt-Freeport Church of Christ, where he laid a strong foundation for young believers. His passion for mentorship extends beyond the church walls—he has served as a camp counselor for numerous church events and camps, providing spiritual guidance and support to countless young people.

 

For 10 years, he faithfully served on the board of Timothy Hill Children's Ranch, a ministry sponsored by the Church of Christ, helping to shape the lives of at-risk youth and foster a Christ-centered environment for growth and transformation.

 

In October 2021, Brother Mitchell was appointed as an elder at the Church of Christ at Ames Raod,  further solidifying his commitment to shepherding the Lord’s church. Through his leadership, wisdom, and dedication, he continues to be a guiding light, strengthening the congregation and encouraging others to walk faithfully with Christ.

 

When Bro. Mitchell is not at church, you can find him spending time with family or riding his bike!
